The company behind the evolution series is Rilean Construction of Queenstown, New Zealand. It’s a privilege to work and play in such a natural environment.
As a well-respected construction company we’ve focused for many years on minimising our environmental impact and educating our peers and customers.
NZ homes contribute to national greenhouse gas emissions. Reducing the amount of energy we use and using as much renewable energy as possible provides the greatest potential to reduce CO2 emissions.
Rilean is a member of the New Zealand Green Building Council and advocates sustainable practices. With a strong desire to give customers a realistic and affordable opportunity to be part of a sustainable future, Rilean Construction launched the evolution series of homes in December 2010.
The evolution philosophy is simple:
To design and construct healthier homes
To reduce CO2 emissions
To provide homes that exceed the minimum requirement under the New Zealand Building Code
To educate and promote the use of sustainable practice
To make homes warmer, energy efficient and sustainable
To bridge the gap between architects’/designers’ sustainable objectives and clients’ sustainable
expectations
To give all New Zealanders the opportunity to be part of a sustainable future.
We believe the way forward in sustainable construction is to educate. So whether you want to discuss simple steps or an advanced approach, talk to evolution.
