Trade Aid is a very unique NZ based business - as a not-for-profit organisations its way of doing business is completely the opposite to most businesses as they place the producers at the front of everything they do.

Trade Aid is a unique Kiwi organisation which uses fair trade as a way to improve the lives of disadvantaged producers around the world. As a not-for-profit fair trade organisation we even go above and beyond basic fair trade: we share any surplus with our producers (it's
only fair!), support them to increase production, quality and protect the environment, pay for our product well before we receive it and are active in speaking (sometimes we shout!) for greater justice in international trade - all this plus paying a fairer price!

Sustainability encompasses social, economic and environmental sustainability. Trade Aid is active in promoting environmental justice - as it is the world's poor who are already feeling the worst impact of climate change.
