The lodge is contemporary yet timeless, with pavilions of stone and walnut featuring glass walls, limestone floors and original New Zealand art works. The guest rooms are luxurious, beautifully appointed with the floor to ceiling glass walls highlighting the proximity of the water, native bush and birdlife.

Sustainability.
The lodge was designed to be sustainable maximising the use of passive solar and thermal mass.
On the property stock was removed and thousands of native trees planted to protect the foreshore and harbour
Rain water is the sole water supply, filtered and uv treated back into the lodge and onto the herb and vegetable garden.
Grey and waste water is purified and fed back to the native plantings.
Large orchard, vegetable and herb gardens are grown following organic practices
