RESOURCE EFFICIENT
Stone Villa's is built from pure Niuean limestone rocks, which is
harvested within 10km from the villa site ultimately cutting transportation costs and associated greenhouse gases. By using local resource we are trying to encourage and support the growth of a healthy local Niuean economy.
ENERGY EFFICIENT
We use solar generated hot water
We use energy saving appliances that have low power consumption
WATER EFFICIENT
Stone Villas is built 400 metres from water reservior.
Rainwater harvesting is currently under way.
WASTE MANAGEMENT

INTER-GENERATIONAL KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER
Stone Villa's is part of Niue's national educational "YES (Youth Employment Scheme)" program. High School students work experience attachments are to private sector businesses. Work experience to eco-friendly businesses encourages climate care awareness
Stone Villa's owner & builders grandfather "Grandpa Iosefa Jackson" legacy of using limestone rocks for building is passed from generation to generation
