Money Matters offers personal investment and financial planning with the option of Responsible Investment.

Thanks to the expertise of founder and Managing Director Dr Rodger Spiller, Money Matters have the research skills and knowledge to plan your investments around environmental, social, ethical or governance factors.

Dr Rodger Spiller has met the eligibility requirements of the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA) certification program.

A Certified Financial Planner since 1993, Rodger’s PhD explored responsible business and responsible investment locally and internationally and included philosophy, finance, management and transformational leadership.

He is Executive Director of the New Zealand Centre for Business Ethics and Sustainable Development, a Member of the Nominating Committee of the New Zealand Superannuation Fund, New Zealand Director of the Responsible Investment Association Australasia and a Director of Transparency International (NZ). He is a former Member of the Securities Commission and has served as Executive Director of the New Zealand Business Council for Sustainable Development and New Zealand Businesses for Social Responsibility.
